Susan DiMickele is a trial lawyer and counselor to employers in labor, employment, contracts, collective bargaining, and dispute resolution matters. She co-leads Squire Sanders’ global Labor & Employment Practice Group of more than 125 lawyers in 13 countries.

Susan has significant jury trial experience in employment discrimination, breach of contract and fraud cases. She advocates for employers in matters involving wrongful termination, employment discrimination, employee benefits, trade secrets and restrictive covenants, unfair labor practices, personal injury and wrongful death. In addition, Susan has experience in successfully representing employers in wage and hour class actions including extensive multistate and multidistrict litigation.

Susan leads in-house training for employers, including EEO and diversity, project management and risk management training, and represents employers in successful union-free campaigns. She counsels her clients on the implementation of litigation-prevention strategies and compliance with all aspects of US federal and state employment law and leads international compliance teams, implementing a project management approach to global labor and employment compliance.

Susan co-chairs Squire Sanders’ Partnering for Worldwide Value^® initiative, looking for new, innovative ways to achieve cost-effective and efficiency in client service. She leads Squire Sanders in employing new processes, tools and creative approaches to maximize the value of services and regularly speaks on efforts in project management, business process development and knowledge management.

She is an author to many national publications and a personal memoir. Her honors include being regularly named an Ohio Super Lawyer, being recognized as a leader in the field of labor and employment by Chambers USA and being listed in The Best Lawyers in America.
