Dr. Kai Mertens is the managing partner of our Berlin office and heads in our German corporate practice. He has more than 15 years of experience in national and cross-border corporate transactions, equity and debt financing. He is one of Berlin’s highly recommended lawyers for corporate/privatization work in the JUVE Handbook of German Corporate and Commercial Law Firms.

Dr. Mertens’ practice encompasses acquisitions, mergers, leveraged buy outs, privatisations, joint ventures, capital restructurings, control- and profit transfer agreements as well as fund restructurings and high profile corporate dispute resolution.
