Silvia Ara Associate

Silvia Ara´s practice focuses primarily on litigation law, mainly civil law, highlighting her solid knowledge in this area acquired during the years she studied to become a Notary, in which overcame some of their hard civil law tests.

Her beginnings as a construction corporate lawyer, also provides her with experience in real estate, commercial and tax law among others, with such versatility that allows her to work with the different departments on the firm. She is also a member of the Court of Arbitration in Madrid.

In recent years, she has focused her career on litigation law, coming to lead that department in another local firm before joining Squire Sanders, playing an important role in customer acquisition, analysis of objectives and results and billing control, and leading all kind of civil and commercial proceedings with constant assistance to the courts. In criminal law, stresses her experience in crimes against traffic security acquired while she worked as an external lawyer for a major insurance company
