Sickness absence is one of those HR issues that never seems to go away!
The latest CIPD Absence Management Survey confirms that sickness remains a big issue for all employers. Managing it is vital in the current climate.
At our March Employment Workshop we will use a DVD clip featuring our fictional HR Manager to explore:

strategies for reducing sickness absence, including the Government’s proposals to change the current system;

how to balance your legal obligations while managing the needs of the business;

reasonable adjustments – your obligations under the Equality Act 2010;

recent case law developments; and

what to include in your employment policies and contracts.
