Valentin Borodin’s practice concentrates on real estate and real estate finance transactions. He advises clients on acquisition and leasing of different types of commercial property (including industrial facilities, offices, trade centers and warehouses), asset-based loans, forward takeouts of real properties, restructuring of mortgage-backed loans, and town planning and zoning issues. In addition Valentin has extensive experience participating in numerous due diligence investigations of real estate projects located in Moscow and other regions of Russia.

Valentin is the author of numerous publications regarding legal aspects of real estate transactions in Russia including “Types of Agreements for Investment in Commercial Real Estate Under Construction,” which appeared in the 28 March 2011 special issue of The Moscow Times.
