Vladimira Papirnik focuses her international business practice on banking, project finance and corporate law. Her corporate practice covers mergers and acquisitions as well as corporate governance issues.
Val has more than 25 years of experience representing financial institutions as well as borrowers in export finance, secured and unsecured lines of credit, multicurrency revolving credit and term loan agreements with serving line facilities, guarantees and letter of credit facilities. She has also represented parties in nuclear fuel financings and waste-to-energy projects.
Val regularly represents a Czech export credit agency in its export credit transactions. Val also represents a number of borrowers in the Czech Republic and international markets and has advised lenders on innovative project and real estate refinancings.
Val is listed in the 2010 edition of

Representative Experience
- Representing banks providing more than US$400 million in the first true project financing in the Czech Republic.
- Advising the agent on a multitranche financing facility for a major road reconstruction project in Azerbaijan.
- Advising the lender on the secured financing of aircraft exported to Uganda, Brazil and French Guiana.
- Advising the agent on the financing of the development, construction and operation of a retail center in CIS.
- Representing the borrower in the financing of the land acquisition development and construction of a 400-unit residential development in Prague.
- Representing a financial institution in its own borrowings under short-term and long-term term and revolving credit facilities.
- Preparing form loan and security documents for the Prague branch of a major international bank, together with related research memoranda.
