Introducing a new bi-monthly webinar series from Squire Sanders designed to give you a concise, high-level briefing on your most worrisome compliance and fraud challenges. Our webinar format includes a succinct introduction designed to give healthcare and life sciences counsel and compliance officers a quick snapshot of key issues, followed by a Q & A session to address critical issues and concerns of participants.
Our series kicked off on January 19 with "What I Don't See Coming from the DOJ." This session addressed the real challenges healthcare legal and compliance executives face related to the US Department of Justice's (DOJ) focus on federal healthcare fraud. A recording of the webinar and the presentation materials are now available online. Additionally, a copy of the article "Rx for Fraud: The Feds Get Personal," which was discussed during the webinar, is available online.
Dates and planned topics for the 2012 series include:
- March 15 – Keeping Your CEO From Being Excluded
- May 17 – Attorney-Client Privilege: Keeping It and Using It Wisely
- September 20 – How to Handle the Bad Email or Social Media Post
- Pending – Use of Outside Counsel: When Inside Counsel Is not Enough
- Pending – Proper Recordkeeping in a Heightened Enforcement Environment
Are these or other compliance and fraud issues keeping you up at night? Please
other topic ideas. We look forward to your input and participation.
