Bruce Gabriel, practice group leader of Squire Sanders' Public and Infrastructure Finance Practice Group, serves primarily as bond, borrower’s and underwriters' counsel in conduit financing transactions by public bodies for the benefit of private entities.

Bruce is experienced in counseling public and private sector clients in matters involving taxable and tax exempt municipal securities; secondary market and derivative transactions; public offerings and private placements of securities for commercial, distribution, industrial, infrastructure and healthcare projects; and multitranche lease financing of such projects through governmental bodies for the benefit of for-profit and nonprofit entities.

Bruce also counsels public bodies regarding general public sector law issues and formerly chaired, and remains a member of, Squire Sanders' disclosure group. That group establishes disclosure practices and procedures for public offerings of municipal securities in which Squire Sanders is involved. Bruce is a former contributing editor for the securities and tax law chapters in Fundamentals of Municipal Bond Law, published by The Bond Market Association (now the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association).

He is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers, the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and several bar associations.

Bruce is listed in The Best Lawyers in America for his public finance practice.
