Tim Stead is a senior associate in our Corporate Transactions, Finance & Governance practice based in our London office. His particular expertise covers all aspects of corporate finance including Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity and Public Equity.

Tim has experience in acting on acquisitions in a variety of sectors including media, healthcare, mining and support services. He has advised on a variety of fundraisings for companies ranging from initial start-up fundraisings to placings for substantial listed PLCs.

Tim provides particular assistance to his clients on the management of risk during the course of such transactions, which are often very high value and time intensive.  He works closely with his clients, aiming to guide them through the process, providing strategic advice and support where necessary, which in turn allows clients to concentrate on closing the deal whilst at the same time managing business and operational affairs.

• Advising the selling shareholders of Brook Hunt & Associates on its £60mn disposal to Wood Mackenzie Limited.
• Advising Low & Bonar PLC on the £11mn acquisition of Westbond Limited.
• Advising the selling shareholders of Enviros Group Limited on its £30mn disposal to Alfred McAlpine plc.
• Advising Amaze TV Limited on its successful £3mn fundraising and subsequent sale to Content Production Holding B.V.
• Assisting in advising The BSS Group PLC on a number of acquisitions including those relating to AHED Limited, Buck Hickman and Birchwood Group Holdings Limited
