Tim has particular expertise in relation to mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions (acting for private equity funds, management teams and sellers, selling to private equity).

• Advised Shareholders and Management of Asperity Employee Benefits on their sale to a newco backed by Inflexion Private Equity.
• Advised contemporary furniture and home accessories retailer Dwell and its management team on an equity investment by Key Capital Partners.
• Advised John Laing Integrated Services and Pinnacle PSG on the sale of PFI sector service provider Equipe Regeneration Ltd to Rydon Group.
• Advised Inflexion Private Equity and newco on their investment in specialist travel company Griffin Global.
• Advised private equity investor and the lender backed vehicle Breedon Holdings Limited on the restructuring of Ennstone plc, the previously listed aggregates business through a pre-pack administration.
• Advised shareholders and management of Brook Hunt & Associates Limited on the sale of the company to Wood Mackenzie Limited.
• Advised Unilever Ventures and the founders of Vitamin Brands Limited, the developer of V Water - the vitamin water, on the sale of the company to PepsiCo Holdings.
• Advised shareholders and management of Benugo Limited on the sale of the company to Westbury Street Holdings Ltd.
• Advised shareholders and management on the secondary buyout of Think Money by Alchemy Partners.
• Advised management on the BIMBO of PDP Couriers backed by Core Capital.
• Advised selling shareholders on the MBO of Foreman Roberts Limited backed by NVM Private Equity.
• Advised selling shareholders on the sale of Kendric Ash Limited to Northgate Information Systems.
• Advised Englefield Capital on their sale of their interest in Zephyr Investments to JP Morgan and Prudential.
• Advised Aberdeen Asset Managers Private Equity on its MBO of Purac (now Enpure).
• Advised a private equity fund on its MBO of National Accident Helpline
• Advised management on the BIMBO of Fisher Outdoor Leisure by ISIS EP.
• Advised a private equity fund on its investment in Commercial First.
• Advised Beaufort Wind Limited (backed by Englefield Capital and Arcapita) on a series of acquisitions of wind farms from Npower Renewables Limited.
