Tanya Theobald

Senior Associate

Tanya Theobald’s practice focuses on non-contentious commercial and intellectual property work, in particular, the drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements, copyright, trade mark, database and patent licenses and assignments.

Tanya has considerable experience in advising and negotiating on advertising and marketing services contracts and media buying and media selling agreements.

Tanya also advises on content of advertising for print, poster, radio, website and TV campaigns, including comparative advertising, use of images rights and celebrity endorsements, sales promotions, competitions and free prize draws. She undertakes the drafting and negotiation of agreements for artists, models, photographers and illustrators and has experience of dealing with ASA complaints.

Tanya has expertise in the recruitment sector in drafting standard terms for recruitment agencies and for clients receiving the services of temporary staff and advising on the ever evolving regulations affecting clients in this sector.

Tanya undertakes the commercial, IT and IP aspects of a variety of corporate transactions, responsible for the due diligence process, negotiating warranties and disclosure.
