Steven Friedman is a trial lawyer with extensive experience in a wide variety of commercial litigation areas including antitrust, contract, banking and trade secret matters. In addition to his commercial litigation practice, Steven has particular expertise in representing owners in all aspects of construction projects including dispute resolution and trial work. He also has represented numerous Ohio public entities in a wide array of municipal and constitutional lawsuits. His practice also includes substantial experience representing a local television station in the First Amendment area.

Steven is listed in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Business Lawyers 2003-2011 for his work representing owners in construction disputes and in the 2006-2012 editions of The Best Lawyers in America. He also appears in The Legal 500 US and Benchmark: Litigation. He has been listed as an Ohio Super Lawyer by Thomson Reuters each year since 2004 and is rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell.

Prior to joining the firm, Steven served as a judicial clerk for The Honorable Judge John M. Manos of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. He is a barrister in the John M. Manos American Inn of Court.

Steven is the co-founder and co-chair of the board of the Cleveland MetroKicks, a charitable soccer program for inner-city youth, and was a member of the charter class of the Cleveland Bridge Builders.
