Radek Janeček, managing partner of the Squire Sanders Prague office, joined Squire Sanders in 1994 as a law student, became an associate after completing his studies in the Czech Republic and the United States in 1997 and became a partner in 2007. During his legal career at Squire Sanders, he has assisted clients out of its Cleveland, London and Bratislava offices. After spending two years as the chief operating officer of Sekyra Group Real Estate, where he was responsible for its corporate and financial restructuring, Radek returned to Squire Sanders.

Radek’s real estate experience includes representing owners, developers, greenfield investors, financial investors and institutions in all aspects of real estate transactions. He is noted as a leader in the field in Chambers Europe.

Radek’s finance experience includes representing banks and public and private borrowers in bilateral and syndicated loans, international bond issues, project finance transactions, and solvent and insolvent restructurings.

Radek’s corporate practice involves representing foreign investors and venture capital funds in acquisitions, investments and disinvestments in Central and Eastern Europe, and domestic corporations in stock and asset transactions and joint ventures.

Radek is a member of the Czech Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.
