Siân is an Associate in the Restructuring & Insolvency team based in our Manchester office. Her particular expertise encompasses a range of non-contentious and some contentious insolvency work, lender security reviews and enhancement, and business support.

Siân has worked on a wide variety of transactions advising administrators, LPA receivers, lenders and creditors of insolvency companies, primarily focused upon corporate insolvency regimes. Clients include top tier accountants, financiers, agents and corporations and she has experience of advising clients on their options as creditors, debtors and office holders.

Siân is actively involved in the team’s ongoing marketing strategy.

Representative Experience

• Advising a secured lender upon its security over the assets of a property investment group of companies.
• Negotiating and advising office holders in relation to the sale of businesses out of insolvency.
• Acting for administrators and making necessary applications to Court in connection with their office for extension of administrations; dis-application of the prescribed part and for a distribution to be made to unsecured creditors.
• Acting for and advising banks in relation to the default of their clients and the recovery, enforcement and insolvency procedures available to them.
