Serena Wotherspoon is a lawyer in our Corporate Strategy and Finance practice based in our London office. Serena focuses her practice on corporate matters including corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and private equity.
Serena has assisted on a variety of deals including mergers, acquisitions, disposals and investments, for UK and international public and private companies.

Representative Experience

• Advising on the investment in and acquisition of a UK registered company from its US registered parent company, following an auction process.
• Assisting with the private equity investment and acquisition of a UK telecoms business.
• Assisting Renewable Energy Generation Limited (AIM Listed) on the £70m sale of the entire issued share capital of its wholly owned subsidiary AIM PowerGen Corporation to International Power Canada Inc.
• Advising Chloride Plc on its acquisition of Emergency Power Systems Plc.
• Assisting with the disposal by Live Nation Inc. of its theatre venues in the UK to The Ambassador Theatre Group Limited and to Nederlander International for £98m.
• Advising on the multi-jurisdictional anti-trust clearances of the sale of the entire issued share capital of Lucite International Group Limited to Mitsubishi Rayon Co. Limited for US$1.6 billion.
