Sebastian Dücker

Associate

Sebastian Dücker is an associate in the Labor & Employment Practice Group based in our Berlin office. His particular expertise covers all aspects of individual and collective employment law as well as employment data protection law. He has experience in providing legal advice to clients in the entertainment technology industry, healthcare industry and care home industry, as well as service sectors.

Sebastian counsels clients on termination procedures, social contributions, employment data protection law and in matters involving labor litigation. He has profound experience in all matters of works council rights of participation and codetermination and employment contract law including works agreements as well as the conclusion and termination of employment agreements.

Furthermore, Sebastian has experience in providing strategic advice on business change programmes involving social plan, reconciliation of interests with respect to operational changes and TUPE issues as well as on defending works council claims.

Prior to joining Squire Sanders, he worked in the Berlin office of a prestigious law firm in Germany as part of its labor and employment practice.

Sebastian is a lecturer at seminars of the German Association for Personnel Management.

    • Providing comprehensive counsel to leading private railway companies during industrial disputes.
    • Advising numerous employers on the implementation of HR policies in Germany-based subsidiaries.
    • Advising numerous employers in Germany in lawsuits with works councils.
    • Acting in various protection against dismissal lawsuits.
