Robert Nauman focuses his practice on health insurance, healthcare and corporate matters.

Robert has significant experience representing insurers, health plans, managed care organizations, hospitals and medical technology companies. His experience includes addressing healthcare and insurance regulatory issues, such as licensing and insurance company redomestication, as well as transactional matters such as mergers and acquisitions and formation of joint ventures.

He is a member of the American and Ohio State Bar Associations and the American Health Lawyers Association.

Representative Experience

• Representing a large regional health insurance company in the redomestication of an insurance subsidiary to Ohio.
• Representing a large prescription drug plan sponsor in connection with its submission of insurance certificate of authority applications in all 50 US states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.
• Assisting another medical insurer in the formation of an Ohio-domiciled health insuring corporation.
• Assisting a national medical technology company with a variety of regulatory matters and in establishing joint ventures with physicians and hospitals in various jurisdictions.
• Assisting a major regional hospital system in addressing physician recruitment issues.
