Rhian Radia’s practice focuses on a broad range of labor and employment law issues, both contentious and noncontentious. Rhian’s clients include financial institutions, charitable organizations, media companies and senior executives.
Her contentious experience ranges from claims for breach of contract in the High Court to claims for unfair dismissal, unlawful discrimination and whistleblowing in the Employment Tribunal.
The noncontentious aspect of her practice includes advising on redundancy exercises, drafting employment-related documentation, negotiating senior executive termination packages and advising clients on day-to-day human resources issues. Rhian also advises on the employment law aspects of corporate transactions, coordinating legal advice internationally from non-UK jurisdictions where necessary. Rhian’s transactional experience includes advising on the application of the Transfer of Undertakings Regulations to disposals, acquisitions and outsourcings.
Rhian has published employment law articles in relation to team moves and the enforceability of restrictive covenants in overseas jurisdictions. She is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
