Renata Rai Associate

Renata is an associate in the Corporate Transactions, Finance & Governance practice. Renata is based in our Birmingham office.

Renata advises on a variety of issues including portfolio management for asset-based lending clients, with both solvent and insolvent structures and has considerable experience advising on a full range of asset based lending matters, including acquisition finance and pure receivables transactions.  Renata has particular expertise in advising in relation to distressed situations, restructuring and insolvency related issues.

Representative Experience

• Acting for a funder on the initial funding and subsequent re-organisation of a high street clothing manufacturer with numerous bases through mainland Europe.
• Ongoing advice in relation to a funding package that includes a debt purchase facility, property and inventory loans, a revolving credit facility and bonding facilities and advice in relation to a new security structure, designed to maximise the benefit to incoming syndicate members.
• Assisting in relation to the exit of a financier and the subsequent insolvency of a tier 3 automotive supplier.
• Acting for a funder providing an acquisition finance facility, by way of receivables finance, cashflow and term loan facilities.
