Rehan Pasha

Senior Associate

Rehan's practice covers the whole range of employment issues. He advises a variety of clients, including professional practices, SMEs and multinationals, on day to day employment issues. His primary interest is in resolving disputes both within the workplace and after employment has ceased. He also has significant experience in advising senior managers and directors exiting their businesses.

He is also active in providing training both to clients and third parties. He has recently given lectures on employment law to the Law Society, the Chemical Business Association and APSCo, as well as taking part in a mock Employment Tribunal for a client of the firm.

Outside work, Rehan is a Board member of a local housing association and Vice Chairman of its Finance Sub Committee.

Representative Experience

    • Successfully defending an airline from a senior pilot's allegations of unfair dismissal, dismissal on the grounds of health and safety and asserting a statutory right.
    • Obtaining significant compensation for an international executive who was employed by the Indian subsidiary of a Korean multinational but was based in the UK.
    • Obtaining significant compensation for a Board Member of one of the largest Social Housing organisations in the country.
    • Advising a multinational telecommunications company on a series of grievances alleging discrimination on the part of a senior manager and a director.
    • Successfully defending a claim brought by the Chief Executive of a charity and obtaining an Order that she pay £10,000 costs.
    • Acting for a large regional firm of accountants in securing appropriate undertakings from a chartered accountant who had taken highly confidential information when he moved to a competitor.
