Paul F. Sefcovic serves as underwriters’ counsel, bond counsel and corporate counsel on a wide variety of financing transactions including asset securitizations, healthcare finance and other special purpose financings. These financings have included Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registrations, master indenture structures, credit enhancement features, variable interest rate terms, interest rate swaps and related issues.

Paul also has extensive experience serving as counsel to state and local governments, private corporations and healthcare institutions. His recent transactions include serving as underwriters’ counsel on SEC-registered and unregistered student loan securitizations for issuers based in Texas, Ohio, California, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maine and Alaska; serving as bond counsel and underwriters’ counsel in more than 75 publicly offered tax-exempt healthcare bond financing transactions; developing state sponsored tax-exempt bond pools for healthcare institutions; and serving as counsel in both exempt and non-exempt securities in multiple financing structures.

He is a member of the Education Finance Council, National Health Lawyers Association, the National Association of Bond Lawyers, the American Academy of Hospital Attorneys, the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
