Prew Lumley is a property partner in the Leeds Office of the Real Estate Group and has more than 15 years experience as a commercial property lawyer. Prew works on a job share basis with Karen French and her work involves a range of property related areas. Principally Prew acts for corporate real estate clients across a breadth of types of occupation including retailers, chemical distribution, builders merchants, textile operators, call centres, paper producers and electrical manufacturers. Prew and Karen lead the Corporate Real Estate team in Leeds and Prew heads the Retail team. In addition Prew has worked on a number of high profile regeneration projects representing the Homes and Communities Agency (formerly known as English Partnerships) and the various Regional Development Agencies such as Yorkshire Forward and SEEDA. She has also acted on a number of development projects both residential and commercial. - Acting for a number of high street retailers in connection with their property portfolios.
- Acting for Vireol Limited and Future Fuels LLP in connection with a state of the art bioethenol plant to be constructed in Grimsby.
- Acting for HCA in connection with 3 different residential development schemes that are part of only 10 “Design For Manufacture” developments within the UK.
- Acting for JSR Properties in connection with “The Glasshouse” a mixed use development in Nottingham involving retail space and student accommodation.
- Acting for Call Credit on the renegotiation of the leases for their headquarters in Leeds.
- Acting on the acquisition of two portfolios of properties from a well known chemists on a sale and lease-back basis.
- Acting for a range of Corporate Occupier clients such as Univar plc, The Storey Group Limited, Standard Wool (UK) Limited, DAKS Simpson Limited, Trinity Mirror Group in connection with their property portfolios.
