Defending Tribunal Claims: maximising success, minimising stress

Data: 6 March 2012
Time: Registration is at 8.45am for 9.00am start. The seminar will last 2 ¼ hours
Miejsce: Rutland House, 148 Edmund Street, Birmingham, B3 2JR

To ensure that you and your managers are in a stronger position to defend any Tribunal claims join us at our March 2012 seminar when we will be staging a mock Tribunal hearing based on a real life case involving alleged misuse of social media.

We will guide you through the Tribunal process in a practical and informal setting as well as providing tips on defending claims. This seminar will ensure you are not taken by surprise when attending a hearing. It is relevant even for those who do not currently have any ongoing Tribunal complaints, as we will highlight how Tribunals approach matters such as decision-making and note-taking, thus enabling you to take steps to ensure your procedures are watertight.

We will also highlight the changes to the Employment Tribunal system that will be coming into force in April 2012.

At this seminar we will be joined by barristers from Old Square Chambers.

This session will be of particular interest to HR professionals and in-house advisers, as well as managers with responsibility for handling disciplinary and grievance matters who may be required to give evidence at a Tribunal.

As always you will have an opportunity to ask questions of our experts, as well as share your experiences with other delegates.
