Peter McLintock Partner

Peter McLintock heads the Corporate Transactions, Finance & Governance Practice Group based in our Birmingham office. His expertise covers all aspects of mergers and acquisitions principally for public equity and private equity clients including acting for institutions and management teams in takeovers, take privates, buy outs, buy ins and bimbos.

Prior to joining Squire Sanders, Peter was a senior member of the leading venture capital investor, 3i, and this experience, combined with his years of leading transactions in private practice has given him a unique opportunity to see issues from the perspective of a client as well as an adviser.

• Advising on the acquisition of Futur Limited for Spanish client, SAICA.
• Advising on the sale of Teaching Personnel Holdings Limited to its management and Graphite Capital.
• Advising on the management buyout of Team Telecom Group from Spice plc backed by Gresham LLP and HSBC Bank plc.
• Counselling on the management buyout of 8Solutions backed by Sovereign Capital.
• Advising on the sale of commercial staffing business of Kelly Services.
