Peter Limbert

Peter Limbert is a senior associate in the litigation practice group. He has a wealth of experience in advising clients in various industries – particularly in sport – on a broad range of regulatory and contentious issues, including in relation to commercial litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution.
Peter has acted on some of the most high profile disputes in sport over the last few years, including Heart of Midlothian v Webster & Ors, Chelsea FC v Adrian Mutu, RC Lens v Chelsea FC and Gaël Kakuta, Fenerbahçe v Stephen Appiah and FIFA v Dr Amos Adamu. He has represented clients in the sports industry in a variety of different arenas, including before the High Court, the Court of Arbitration for Sport, the FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber, the FIFA Ethics Committee and Arbitral proceedings under Rule K of The Football Association; and has advised football clubs in The Premier League in relation to a wide range of regulatory issues.
Peter also has particular experience in a broad range of commercial litigation and has advised high profile clients in the media and advertising industries.
