Paola Checo focuses her practice on corporate matters. Paola assists in performing due diligence, integration and maintenance of corporations, mergers and acquisitions, establishment of branches of foreign companies, financing contracts and property acquisitions for both individuals and business entities in the Dominican Republic.

Prior to joining Squire Sanders, Paola worked for law firms in Santo Domingo and Santiago, Dominican Republic. While studying for her master’s degree in Boston, Massachusetts she held an internship at the Dominican Consulate. She also held an international internship at one of the largest miners’ law groups in Santiago, Chile.
