Olivia leads the construction team in our London office. Her particular expertise covers projects and non-contentious construction.

Olivia has experience of significant retail, urban regeneration and mixed use schemes, as well as education and infrastructure projects. Her clients are generally developers and funders, although she also acts for contractors, consultants and sub-contractors.

Olivia advises on the drafting and negotiation of project documentation including development agreements, agreements for lease, sale agreements, building contracts, appointments, bonds, warranties and guarantees. She has particular experience in the retail and leisure sectors. Olivia’s practice additionally encompasses advising on sport related construction matters including stadia redevelopments and venue use agreements. She has recently advised on a series of venue use agreements, including in relation to the 2012 Olympic Games.

Olivia also provides transactional construction support to the firm’s real estate and corporate departments, handling complex portfolio acquisitions and sales, and refinancings.

Olivia is a member of the Society of Construction Law and the firm’s Sustainable Development Group.
