Oliver Goodwin is Head of Planning in the London Office. His expertise covers all aspects of planning, with a particular focus on major urban regeneration schemes.
He is a practitioner with over 25 years experience in all aspects of planning, advising both the public and private sectors. He specialises in particular on major urban regeneration schemes. Oliver has been recognised as an expert in planning law in both the Legal 500 and Chambers directories over a number of years. Oliver's recent experience includes a successful challenge to a Council's Core Strategy to secure inclusion of a major allocation on behalf of his client. He has extensive experience of advising on complex environmental assessments and sustainability appraisals. Oliver also advises on complex Section 106 agreements, Road Closures and Compulsory Purchase.

- Advising on planning application and Core Strategy representations for a major sustainable urban extension of 3,150 new homes, 30,000 sq.m. of new business space and community facilities.
- Advising on planning application and Core Strategy Representations for an international business park of 1,000,000 sq.ft., including removal of the site from the Green Belt.
- Advising on planning applications, appeals and Section 106 Agreement in connection with the conversion of a Grade II Listed Building to provide in excess of 350 new homes.
- Advising on planning application and Section 106 Agreements in relation to a conversion of a major office building to provide in excess of 300 new homes.
- Advising in relation to European Law on environmental assessment on a major sustainable tourism project in Greece.
