Olena Bilozor has more than 14 years of experience practicing law in Ukraine. Her practice focuses on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions and finance transactions. Olena provides legal support on a number of multimillion-dollar mergers and acquisitions, and advises clients on corporate restructuring, creation of joint ventures and conducting due diligence of companies, as well as drafting and negotiating sale-purchase and shareholder agreements. She also handles hotel management transactions for major international hotel operators.

Prior to joining Squire Sanders, Olena was a senior associate and legal director at prominent Ukraine and an international law firms.

She was recommended as corporate law counsel by Yurydychna Praktyka Handbook for Foreign Clients: Ukrainian Law Firms 2004.

• Representing a private investor in its acquisition of four chemical plants in Ukraine worth more than US$2.1 billion including financing matters.
• Advising Russia's largest independent investment bank on its leveraged acquisition of a major iron and steel plant in Ukraine.
• Representing a private company on the acquisition of a Ukraine-based bank for US$440 million.
• Advising the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) with respect to its loans to several Ukraine-based companies.
• Representing an international communications company, ranked as one of the most connected Internet Service Providers worldwide, in its acquisition in Ukraine.
