Nina Hesse’s practice focuses on corporate transactions, commercial contracts and dispute resolution.

Nina regularly advises national and international clients on German corporate and commercial law, conducts legal due diligence procedures, provides legal opinions and drafts and reviews commercial contracts, including general terms and conditions. Her experience also encompasses commercial disputes and arbitration proceedings.

Before joining Squire Sanders, Nina worked as a legal trainee in law firms in Germany, Luxembourg and Canada.

Nina completed Legal International Formation for both French Law and Spanish Law, each consisting of two years of academic study of law in the respective language at the University of Trier.

• Advising a public services company in Germany (Stadtwerke) on the acquisition of shares in an energy service provider. 
• Advising Silmet Grupp on the sale of a controlling stake in AS Silmet to Molycorp, Inc.
• Advising a German solar PV developer on a joint venture with a developer in the UK.
• Advising investors on the acquisition of several PV plants in France and Italy.
• Advising Olympus Corporation on the sale of its worldwide diagnostic services business to Beckman Coulter.
