Nathan Gunn

Nathan Gunn joined the pensions practice in Birmingham in 2008 having completed his training with the firm.
He advises trustees and sponsors on all aspects of occupational pension plan management including governance, legislative compliance, plan documentation, member queries and benefit change projects. Nathan's main specialism is advising in respect of defined benefit pension arrangements. His clients include the Trustees of the Professional Footballers' Pension Scheme, an industry-wide pension plan through which all professional football players are provided with retirement benefits.
In addition to his advisory work, Nathan is active in the pension team’s independent trustee business, where he exercises fiduciary duties in respect of a wide range of defined benefit pension plans.
Nathan is a member of the Association of Pension Lawyers. He is also central to the firm’s Business in the Community initiative, having organised the Birmingham pension team’s annual community day for the last two years, and regularly volunteering in a local school.
