Mohammed Alam's experience includes a mixture of acting for corporate real estate clients who only own or occupy property as part of their operational requirements as well as development work in the health and leisure sectors.

Representative Experience

• Part of the team that deals with the UK property portfolio (approximately 550 stores) for the largest specialty jeweler in the world. This includes acquiring and disposing of leasehold and freehold properties, renewal leases and property management issues such as licences for alteration, underletting and assignment.
• Current servicing of all property requirements for a charity organisation which has a portfolio of approximately 600 stores.

Development

• Acting for a number of GP practices in the acquisition of leases of medical centres from Primary Care Trusts under the Local Improvement Finance Trust arrangements.
• Acting for third party private developers in site acquisition, development and subsequent lettings to Primary Care Trusts/ pharmacies/ GP practices.
