Maszaumi Kano’s practice focuses on intellectual property, litigation, ADR and corporate transactions. His experience includes advising gaming and IT-related companies on patent and copyright matters. He has also counseled on a litigation matter involving system developments and resolving intellectual property infringement litigation questions. Maszaumi is a former member of the Research and Study Committee of Japan’s Software Information Center (SOFTIC) on Precedents Concerning Software Contracts, and the Exploratory Committee on Promotion of Utilization of Software Alternative Dispute Resolution Center of SOFTIC in projects under the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
