Michelle Alborzfar’s practice focuses on federal and state court commercial litigation. Michelle handles an extensive variety of cases including business contract claims, landlord-tenant disputes, products liability litigation and insurance matters.
Prior to joining Squire Sanders, Michelle served as a law clerk for The Honorable Phyllis J. Hamilton of the United States District Court, Northern District of California. In law school, she competed in the National Criminal Procedure Moot Court Tournament and coached the Hastings Whittier Juvenile Law Competition Team. Michelle is a board member of the California-Asia Business Council Emerging Leaders Board.
Representative Experience
- Representing an educational institution in condemnation proceedings and landlord-tenant disputes in connection with various leased premises throughout the United States.
- Defending an insurance company in litigation involving environmental remediation policies.
- Advising an international client on complex issues of state and federal corporate law and compliance with the Hague Service Convention.
- Representing an Italian manufacturer in a products liability action.
- Successfully vacating a default judgment on behalf of a client in an intellectual property action.
- Assisting with a wrongful termination case on behalf of a national production and marketing company.
