Louise is a Lawyer in our Environmental, Safety and Health Group based in our Manchester office. Louise specialises in health and safety and contentious environment law; however Louise is involved in a wide range of transactions and can assist in relation to both contentious and non-contentious matters. Louise acts for a mixture of clients, from large multi-national organisations to individuals, and has experience in the Crown Court, the Magistrates Court and the Coroners Court. Louise also carries out a large amount of training for clients, is a member of the Health and Safety Lawyers Association. Louise is involved in regular charity events with Business in the Community and is a member of the firms Manchester netball team.

Louise has previous employment experience in HR, IT and management.

Louise joined the firm in August 2007 as a trainee and qualified into the department into January 2010.

• Representing clients in numerous health and safety prosecutions in relation to both fatal and non-fatal accidents.
• Representing clients in relation to environmental prosecutions, including water pollution and waste.
• Advising clients in relation to compliance with health and safety and environmental law.
• Providing training presentations and seminars to clients.
• Advising clients in relation to compliance with the Bribery Act 2010.
• Advising clients in relation to product liability claims.
• Acting for clients in a wide variety of industries, including chemicals, waste, entertainment, utilities, retail and charities.
