Lindsey Clark is a commercial property solicitor based in our Manchester office. Lindsey advises corporate occupiers on acquisitions and disposals of properties and on estate management issues and has worked on development schemes, dealing with due- diligence and acquisition of land at the site assembly stage and resolving defects in title to the negotiation of statutory agreements and the subsequent implementation of estate management structures and disposals.

Representative Experience

• Acquiring an 18 acre development site in Rochdale on behalf of a developer, including the resolution of various defects in title to facilitate development of the site.
• Reviewing and negotiating substation leases, cable easements, wayleave agreements and drainage easements.
• Acting for a developer on the post-development disposal of properties by way of sale of the freehold, long leases or short term leases.
• Acting on behalf of a healthcare client to secure seven sites around Greater Manchester on behalf of a healthcare client from which it will operate mobile medical units as part of the Department of Health’s Independent Sector Treatment Centre project.
• Acting for a purchaser on the acquisition of a portfolio of seven pharmacies.
• Acting for a city council client to prepare a Compulsory Purchase Order to facilitate the regeneration of Openshaw in east Manchester.
