Lindsay Texel Partner

Lindsay Texel is a Partner in our Real Estate practice and is based in the Leeds office.  She has over 13 years experience as a commercial property lawyer and heads Squire Sanders’ property finance team in Leeds.

Lindsay also acts for both investors and corporate occupiers in relation to their real estate portfolios across a diverse range of business sectors including retail, leisure, manufacturing and business services.

She has considerable experience in large scale property acquisitions and disposals, corporate reorganisations and property management work for landlords and tenants.

Lindsay also undertakes both commercial and residential property development work acting for developers and funders.

The Legal 500 UK 2010 edition says Lindsay is “practical and knowledgeable”

Representative Experience

• Relationship Partner and lead property advisor for Trinity Mirror plc
• Acting for several national banks in relation to the funding of commercial property transactions
• Three month secondment to Lloyds Banking Group in 2011 – sole legal representative in the North of England giving legal support to the CRE teams across the country and across both heritages
• Advising CALA Finance, specialist finance providers, in relation to Joint Venture/Development Services Agreements in respect of residential development sites
• Acting for Live Nation, the world’s largest live entertainment company, in their real estate requirements including several high profile theatre and concert venues
• Acquisition, disposal and development of Motorway Services Areas/Petrol Filling Station sites for The Brookfield Group
• Acting for Allied London Properties in its development of the 22 acre Spinningfields site in central Manchester.
