Laura Williams is a lawyer in our Corporate Strategy and Finance practice based in our London office. Laura focuses her practice on corporate matters including, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and corporate finance. Laura has assisted on a variety of deals including mergers, acquisitions, takeovers and disposals for private and public companies.

Representative Experience

• Assisting on the management buy-out of Asperity Employee Benefits Limited backed by Inflexion Private Equity;
• Assisting on the takeover of Care UK plc by Bridgepoint Capital by way of scheme of arrangement, for c. £281 million;
• Acting for Rensburg Sheppards plc on its c. £412 million takeover by Investec plc by way of scheme of arrangement;
• Assisting Barclays Ventures and the lender backed vehicle Breedon Holdings Limited on the restructuring of Ennstone plc through a pre-pack administration;
• Assisted on the sale of 31 of Kelly Services’ commercial staffing branches across England to Interaction Staffing Solutions Limited; and
• Assisted with the acquisition of companies in the digital communications and PR financial services sectors for The Engine Group Limited.
