Kimberly J. Donovan

Kimberly Donovan focuses her practice on commercial and complex litigation including sophisticated contract disputes, shareholder derivative and class actions, as well as probate and trust litigation. Kimberly has experience litigating a variety of issues related to health law, real estate development, complicated real estate transactions and financing, construction liens, condominiums, environmental agencies and civic engineering. She has litigated in Florida state and federal courts, as well as Florida appellate courts. She has experience in collection, review and production of large-scale electronic discovery.
Kimberly is the co-author of “Rx for Health Care Fraud: The Feds Get Personal,” published in Criminal Justice, Winter 2012, by the American Bar Association.
Prior to graduating, Kimberly interned for The Honorable William P. Dimitrouleas of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Kimberly is a member of the Broward Bar Association and a volunteer with the Justice Teaching Program, teaching elementary school children about the United States Constitution.

- Assisting in the defense of a real estate builder in several actions involving real estate developments.
- Representing a real estate developer in the prosecution of a multimillion-dollar action involving engineering malpractice.
- Assisting in the defense of a developer in several disputes involving a condominium conversion project.
- Assisting with the enforcement of several arbitration awards in state court.
