Karolina Bąk is a member of our Real Estate Practice Group and focuses on property and commercial law. She advises Poland-based and non-Poland-based property sector clients, particularly on the legal status of properties and lease contracts. Karolina prepares and drafts construction and investment process contracts, legal opinions and letters for court and administrative proceedings. She also has experience counseling clients on transactions involving project financing.

Karolina has prior experience in the real estate and construction department of an international law firm.

She participated in a Socrates/Erasmus scholarship at the Commercial Sciences and Business Management Department of the Karel de Grote-Hogeschool in Antwerp.

• Conducting numerous due diligence reviews of office buildings, shopping centers and logistics centers together with comprehensive legal advice on the acquisition of such properties.
• Advising one of the largest owners of a chain of grocery stores in Poland on commercial premises lease agreements.
• Advising one of Europe’s most successful asset managers on acquisition of a warehouse property.
• Advising a company constructing a coal-fired power plant in Northern Poland on the acquisition of land and subsequently, the construction process.
• Preparing drafts of the lease agreements for one of Europe’s leading international commercial property investment and development companies.
• Providing legal advice on the acquisition of shares in Poland-based companies.
• Providing legal advice on property project financing to the one of the largest property managers in Europe.
