Julie Griffin

Associate

Julie Griffin’s practice focuses on competition, commercial and data protection matters.

Her practice includes in particular advising on and drafting commercial and industry contracts, and advising on regulations in France and Europe applying to business companies such as competition laws on mergers, abuse of dominant position, vertical restraint, agency agreements and restrictive practices.

Julie regularly handles merger notifications before the competition authorities. In addition, she frequently handles transactional and litigation work in the field of distribution agreements.

Before joining Squire Sanders, she worked in the Diplomatic Chancellery of the French Embassy in Malta (2007), for the French Ministry for Consumption (in collaboration with Miss D. Laurent, a member of the Conseil d’Etat for the drafting of an independent report) (2009) and in the Brussels office of a law firm specialising in European law.

Julie Griffin is a member of the AFEC (French Association for the Study of Competition).
