Julian is a partner in our Built Environment Group (Construction, Engineering & Projects) practice based in our Manchester office. His particular expertise covers projects and non-contentious construction.

Julian has extensive experience of a wide range of projects including renewable energy and other heavy engineering projects such as on and off-shore wind farms, bio-ethanol plants, gas storage facilities, Hydrocel facilities, a PTA facility, an MMA plant and various nuclear projects. Julian also has extensive experience of property development projects, including hotels, shopping centres, mixed use schemes, residential projects, care homes and supported living projects amongst others.

Julian has been appointed on such projects to assist with the negotiation and drafting of project documentation including EPC contracts, management contracts, traditional contracts, partnering/alliancing arrangements, direct agreements, bonds, warranties, guarantees and input into finance/out-take agreements, agreements for lease and sale agreements. This work has been provided to funders, contractors, developers and design team members.
