Juan A. Anduiza is an experienced trial lawyer who handles trials and arbitrations, both commercial and maritime disputes. In addition, he is involved in multinational commercial transactions. With extensive expertise in Central and South America, his experience includes negotiating international contracts dealing with the construction and purchase of assets in Latin America, as well as international debt collection. In addition to coordinating litigation in various Latin American countries, he has been involved in maritime-related matters ranging from casualties to environmental pollution claims.
Juan has represented non-US governments in litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution matters, and also has served as an arbitrator in international disputes. He has handled numerous marine casualties including groundings, sinkings and marine pollution.
Juan has been a frequent lecturer on commercial and international maritime-related matters, at various bar associations and industry conferences in the United States, Latin America and Spain.

Juan is a member of the American Bar Association, Maritime Law Association of the United States and Comité Maritime International. He is the vice president of the Iberoamerican Institute of Maritime Law for North America, director of the Venezuelan American Association of the United States Inc. and an honorary member of the Maritime Law Associations of Argentina, Colombia, Spain and Venezuela.
