Jeffrey Renzi focuses his practice on complex litigation including business disputes involving leading international companies, product liability, environmental and intellectual property matters. He is experienced in all aspects of litigation including the strategic use of prejudgment remedies, law and motion practice, trial and post-judgment collection procedures.
For four consecutive years, Jeffrey has been recognized by Thomson Reuters as a Southern California Rising Star, a distinction reserved for those under 40 who are considered by their peers to be at the top of the profession.
Representative Experience
- Serving as lead trial counsel and obtaining a multimillion-dollar verdict for a multinational corporation based in China.
- Obtaining favorable judgments and settlements as lead counsel in contract, tort, environmental and intellectual property disputes involving leading international manufacturers, importers, distributors and retailers.
- Obtaining numerous dismissals and summary judgments serving as regional counsel for a Fortune 500 occupant safety systems manufacturer in product liability actions.
- Defending a Fortune Global 100 company in a CERCLA cost recovery case brought against it and a number of other parties, in which the plaintiff alleged that the defendants caused or contributed to groundwater and soil contamination.
- Serving as counsel for industry-leading content providers and publishers in various matters including copyright infringement actions.
- Obtaining favorable results as appellate counsel in several pro bono matters including oral argument before the Circuit Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
