James Henson’s legal practice encompasses most forms of commercial and contractual dispute, including claims arising out of company mergers and acquisitions, civil fraud and technology disputes as well as claims arising out of professional negligence.
James has particular expertise and experience in shareholder disputes and claims for and against directors arising out of breach of fiduciary duty and misfeasance. Notable cases include Bhullar v Bhullar [2003] EWCA Civ 424.
James is frequently instructed by the European Commission and has at one time or another acted for most of the UK’s larger lending institutions.
James also has particular experience and expertise in obtaining interim relief such as search and seizure orders and freezing injunctions as well as alternative dispute resolution, mediation and arbitration proceedings.
