James D. Troxell

Senior Attorney

James Troxell focuses his practice on healthcare information technology, licensing of technology, computer and industrial technology matters. James has extensive and specific practice experience handling the technical and legal issues involved in information technology licensing, acquisition, hosting and outsourcing. His most recent assignments involved large systems dispute resolution, failure analysis, redesign and outsourcing for major US healthcare providers.

James is typically deeply involved in client strategic planning and implementation support for large, complex systems. He is conversant with information technology and, in particular, healthcare technology at a sufficiently high level to support client engineers and experts in the challenges encountered in failure analysis and dispute resolution. James has been trained and certified as a systems engineer and applications specialist in both large mainframe and mid-range systems, and handled dispute resolution for major US information technology suppliers. 

James was named an Ohio Super Lawyer in 2004 and 2005 and has been a recipient of the Crain’s Cleveland Business Leader in Technology Award.
