Christopher Johnson has practiced for more than 25 years in the corporate and securities areas, with significant experience in initial and subsequent public offerings, private placements, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and restructurings, public company securities law compliance, venture capital finance and corporate governance. In 2006, he was named as one of Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Lawyers in America and in 2007 one of Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Dealmakers in America. He has received the highest ranking among Arizona corporate lawyers from Chambers USA: America’s Leading Business Lawyers each year since 2003 and has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America each year since 1995. He was also named Best Lawyers’ 2011 Phoenix Corporate Lawyer of the Year. He has been recognized by his peers in Southwest Super Lawyers, a distinction honoring the top 5 percent of lawyers in the region, each year since 2007. Christopher is also included in Who’s Who Legal USA: Corporate Governance 2006.

Christopher is a former member of the executive council of the State Bar of Arizona’s Securities Regulation Section from 1979 to 1995 and served as its chair from 1994 to 1995. He has served as a member of the boards of directors of the Enterprise Network and the Arizona Technology Incubator, and on the planning committees of the Arizona Venture Capital Conference and the Arizona Technology Council’s Investing in Innovation Conference. Christopher is a frequent author and lecturer on corporate and securities law topics.
