Advanced Appellate 2012

Squire Sanders is pleased to host a live webcast of the Practicing Law Institute’s (PLI) “Advanced Appellate 2012.” The program is designed for lawyers who need to learn basic techniques of appellate litigation, experienced practitioners who would like to improve their skills in appellate advocacy, and in-house counsel who want to be able to better manage appellate litigation handled by outside counsel. Panelists will provide an overview of the appellate process including trial practices, strategies and techniques for persuasive brief writing and oral argument, and how and when to seek amicus support. The program will also cover the rehearing and certiorari processes and effective appellate advocacy from the judicial perspective.
