Helen is a senior associate in our Commercial & Dispute Resolution (Disputes) practice based in our Manchester office.  Her particular expertise covers commercial property disputes and commercial landlord and tenant disputes.

Helen has had over twenty years’ experience advising on contentious property and landlord and tenant matters and of litigation, arbitration and mediation of property and landlord and tenant disputes.  She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and of the Property Litigation Association.

Helen is listed in the 2012 edition of Chambers and Partners’ Chambers UK as a leading individual for real estate.

Representative Experience

• Representing Tenant in litigation to set aside independent expert determination on rent review. 
• Acting for Landlords in applying for permission to forfeit a long lease of a building on the grounds of the tenant’s failure to repair.
• Successfully obtaining the court's permission to forfeit the lease of a Company in Administration.
