Helena is an Associate in our Labour & Employment practice based in our Birmingham office.
Representative Experience
- Helena deals with both contentious and non-contentious employment issues, and has both private and public sector experience.
- Helena is a keen Employment Tribunal advocate and has dealt with a wide range of employment claims including various types of discrimination, both direct and indirect, TUPE and redundancy as well as unfair dismissals.
- Helena is particularly interested in claims involving “family friendly” and also has experience of matters involving trade unions and cross-jurisdictional issues.
- Helena has also worked closely with our corporate department providing advice on the employment implications involved in business transactions as well as providing general advice on contracts of employment and company handbooks. In addition, she has experience in guiding employees through the on-going management of employees on long-term sick leave and in relation to disciplinary issues.
